Hi everyone!
I applied in 2004 OCT to BUFFALO and got AOR in 2005 JAN.
Recently I got IA from them which requires a personal interview at Buffalo.
I am going to get CAIPS fail to know the reason of interview.
If their is someone who had interview, please help me!!!
How long will take to be inform the date of the interview after IA?
What kind of things I should prepare for it?
I got so scared that if there are some kind of problems on my case file.
Please please help me out!!!

Hi,
First things first... CONGRATS !!
Which class are you immigrating in ? I have the similar timeline in skilled worker class.
From what I have gathered from previous posts abt people being called for interview, mostly the CIC was concerned with verification of documents for employment purposes and/or English skills if they are not asking for IELTS etc. So generally speaking you don´t have any reason to get worried or upset unless.... you have given some false info. on the form etc.

There´s no way they´ll tell you why you have an interview, so don´t even waste time trying to find out.

Hi Help me,
If you have been called for an interview in Buffalo then this is most probably a "security" interview. If that is indeed the case then you can expect a long wait because of the background and security checks.
May I ask which country you are from?

I highly appreciate for the precious information.
I am a Japanese (I am not sure the reason for asking though...) applicant in skilled worker class.
I took CELPIP for the English TEST and sent the result with my application.
So far, I have not sent any additional documents yet.

I got a letter saying that i will be schedule for interview. Does anybody know how long it take to get an interview date from that letter?
