Tim,
Please could you provide me weith more information with how/why your application appears to have been cleared so quickly? I´m just curious as to which country you have applied from, your family situation and any other factors you believe have expediated your decision. For example, did you have a job lined up?

I applied from the US, common law couple. The speed seems to have been average for Aug 04 applications--things slowed considerably just one month later. I used express mail for all mailings and got my FBI check done in three weeks. Other than that, no special circumstances and no job pending.
