if you hired a consultant, usually part of their services is to initiate your appeal case if applicable.....sadly even though our consultants mess up, our entire application is our responsibility. I suggest that you communicate with your consultants...make the most of what you paid them....goodluck

I hear a lot of cases where consultants mess up the application. What a pity!

Hi there: I have a question. At what stage of the PR process did they refuse your application? Before AOR? or before IA? Thanks.

Hi Chico,

Personally send a letter to the Canadian consulate in London and inform them that your consultant did not include information about your relative in Canada. Request them to kindly reconsider your case based on this information.

Please provide the following information alongwith the letter:

1) Proof of your relationship with the person living in Canada - by providing birth certificates.

2) Proof that your relative in a citizen or PR of Canada.

3) Proof that your relative is living in Canada - utility bills, bank statements, pay stubs, tax returns etc.

There is a very small chance that the immigration official will accept this new evidence but there is no harm in trying. If they still dont accept then I recommend that you submit a fresh application and this time make sure that all the information is provided.
