Subject: more delay...
since i´m soon out of status in the US i´m going to TRY to have my file transferred to the office closer to my home country. its a long shot but i think i want to try; besides i really don´t want to come back to the US after i leave here in a couple months.

i´m doing this, not because the average processing time is 8-10 months, but because of the US visa issue and the probability of being called for an interview. fact is, buffalo hasn´t even touched my file after 12 months; i may as well have applied this october instead of last.

what do you guys think?? how long of a delay for the transfer do you think i will have??

If you have been waiting for 12 months then you should get some information from Buffalo very soon. Why dont you wait till you get IA. If you are asked to appear for an interview then you can go ahead and request them to transfer your file to your home country. If you are not called for an iterview then there is no problem.
