Hello all,
Now its my time to say, We Got It! Today E-Cas update to Decision Made for permanent residence application for my wife. What a great gift for Diwali (Indian festival of light.) Thank you CIC for this marvelous gift and WISHING YOU ALL TO A VERY HAPPY DIWALI & A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR! and may this year bring you and your family happiness and luck.
Still we haven´t received passport back with stamping along with landing document. I am hoping to receive brown envelop by the end of this week and my wife will be here on Nov 24th.
Woohoo I am so happy today.
Here is my time line...
Spouse Sponsorship.
Applied at CPC-Miss. - Aug 22, 2005.
Sponsorship Approved and file transfer to New Delhi - Sept 8, 2005.
New Delhi starts processing - Sept 19, 2005.
PPR received - Sept 29, 2005.
New Delhi receive passport- Oct 5, 2005.
Permanent residence decision made - Oct 31, 2005.
Passport receive back - ~~expecting by Nov 5, 2005.~~

Thats amazing, I think that is the fastest timeline I have ever heard. New Dehli must be the fastest foreign visa office.

Hi everyone{TNIM}
Does anyone know when do they update e client status, is it daily basis or once in a week.
Here is my my time line
Applied for wife visa on aug 22
Recived Decision made letter on 8th sept
New delhi started processing on 19th sept and sent a letter on 26th sept for sending passport along with 2 pictures and endorsement of surname.
She got the name endorsed and sent the passport to new delhi on oct 5th by courier.
New delhi office recieved on 7th oct,
Till today no change in e-client status nor recieved any communication.
Can any one share their experience.

Hello Ravi,
E-Cas is updated every monday. Yours and mine time line are exact same and my e-client updated this monday with decision made. Since your wife send her passport 2 days after mine so most likely your e-client will update coming monday. Don´t wory you are almost there...For us they didnot asked any picture and endorsement of surname because my wife already did that before applying the application.
Why don´t you send e-mail to delhi at delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca and ask the status. I send e-mail to them just after sending the passport asking about did they received passport, because I was unable to trace throught indianpost website. My wife received call from visa officer in just 2 days and he told her that everything is alright and we will get passport in 3-4 weeks.
Another factor for delay may be medical result. When did your wife did her medicals? If she completed her medicals alteast month before applying the applilcation then at this time they would have got her medical result.
Just hangin there....you are almost done...

Thanx for your reply.Medicals was done in the month of june.It was done before submission of application.I will wait till next monday and will send an enquiry afterwards.Thanx for your concern.

My time line works like,
April 15 submitted application to Missisauga,
May 16 approved as a sponser,
June 2nd file recieved in NEW DELHI,
June 22nd "in process" medical results have been recieved.
July 06 still waiting for my wife´s PPR request but nothing. How long do i need to wait is this a good sign? plz help!
