HI friend,
I´m in a funny situation with a funny question and believe its worth while to ask a question through this forum as I believe people´s experience would definetly help me to sort out the way.
MY question is :
Im working in UAE on a very high profile job with a v attractive package,I want to apply for PR as a skilled worker for canada
IF i apply from UK it will take 3 years.
but my husband forcing me to get admission in some Canadian university and than we go there on student visa and than we apply from Buffalo so we can get the PR little arlier.
can any one suggest me is it worth while to leave every thing behind for the PR.

of course it´s NOT worth it! u need money to do everything! even in canada! if u used up all your money on school, what r u going to do in Canada with only a PR? and it´s hard to find a decent job in canada.

Thanks cc for replying me I´m also thinking the same way but my husband thinks he can earn nicely and manage my fee for the school.He thinks he can make good money by earning 13$ per hour!
I believe applying from UK is much more wise decision.

if he is in hurry to go to canada then the only way to do it is to give it a visit and try to find a job, then apply for a work permit.

the way things are looking... Buffalo is not that much quicker than the UK.
to 89.84... not intending to create a debate on the subject.
I am reading from this poster that her husband has delusions of easy money and an easy life in Canada and that $13.00 is lots of money. I live in Vancouver and $13 per hour does not go very far.

It´s hard enough to support a family with a $13/hour already, and it´s DEFINITELY impossible to pay for school with this money. Do u know how expensive it is for international students to go to school? i had a bachelor´s in Canada and i pay $20,000 Canadian every year just for tuition!
