This is a long shot, but does anyone have any suggestion on how I can put my kids in school in Canada if we don´t have a visa yet?
I´m planning to move before getting my visa and that could take another year or more. I have a 6 and 10 year old but they wouldn´t be eligible to go to a public school, right?. Any suggestions what we could do while living there, other than homeschooling? We´re moving to an area North of Vancouver.

sorry if I am sounding stupid here, but how do you intend to move without a visa?

Getting a visa will take 3 years _+ if you are applying as a skilled worker. What visa are you looking at?

You can move and be a "visitor". Just check at the border every 6 months. Others have done the same. Drawback: no work/health/education. But I can work from home (American company).
