hi guys! i juz wana consult anybody who has knowledge about sponsoring spouse from another country. i had been here in canada for quite sometime now. do you guys think that our marriage could be considered valid even if we just got married a week after my PR visa has been granted? that is, before i even landed here in canada. or do you think i should go back to my home country to redo our vows?
pls help guys... appreciate it.. thanks

I am sooooo, tired of reading post from people who want to get married as soon as CIC says you are in.
PLEASE NOTE: UNTIL YOU ARRIVE IN CANADA AND AN IMMIGRATION OFFICE FINALIZES YOUR APPLICATION AT THE PORT OF ENTRY YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT COMPLETE. IF YOU GET MARRIED BEFORE YOU ARRIVE IN CANADA AND RECEIVE YOUR PR STATUS YOUR SPOUSE WILL NOT BE GIVEN PR STATUS AS THEY WERE NOT EXAMINED BY CIC BEFORE YOU ARRIVED, AND YOU VERY LIKELY LOOSE YOUR PR STATUS.
Wait until you receive your PR status before you get married or get married and start the process all over again it´s up to you.

have u informed CIC about your marriage on port of entry?
if yes, you can sponsor your wife as they change the status of port of entry.
if no, don´t do anything just back to your home country and get married again. this safe and easiest way to call your wife.......
