I just got a fax from CIC Buffalo saying that IA is taking anywhere between 49 weeks to 54 weeks from the date application was received now again I am confused if this 49 or 54 weeks is from date they received our application or the date they processed our AOR´s.

it varies. I know peoples who got aor stating 60 weeks and after 34 weeks got IA.

Hi Saffron: According to you "...fax from CIC Buffalo saying that IA is taking anywhere between 49 weeks to 54 weeks from the ´date application was received´." If the fax says 49-54 wks since the ´date application was received´ then it is the date the application was received, not the AOR date.

I believe in what mircea has to say.. best is to look at recent statistics.. and best current source is yogi799 site..
However 9-12 months is a decent band figure.
