| Subject: HELP! e-Client Status service NEVER available |

hi,
I submitted my application for Permanent Residence to Buffalo on Nov, 2004. I got file no this march then no response ever since. I can NEVER find out the status of my application online through the e-Client Application Status service!
When I input my information into the e-Client system, I always got the reply:
We were not able to identify you using the information you provided.
Is this normal or not? Do I need to fax buffalo for the problem? I know some guys with same timeline already got IA now.

Its not normal, if you have File no. you have to get status by e-client system,
File number, data of birth, sur name and country should be entered correctly
there is some delay to update status but after rec. file no. it should be available for review

I had the same issue for months and then found that I was entring the sure name wrong
My surename on the application is diff from the one on the passport (spelling). They have used the one on the passport and I was using the other one
Check if youhave same issue

All it would take is one spelling error(on cic´s end) and you wouldn´t be able to get your status. Fax them asking why you still can´t use ECAS, it may be something really easily fixed.

I definitely input the correct information. Maybe I need to fax buffalo right now!

i got the same problem, the reason is they made a mistake at my birthday. check them ASAP, they always makes mistake.
