| Subject: E-client changed on Oct/10/05, when to expect PPR? |

hi, everyone,
I saw my e-client status add "Medicals have been recieved" on Oct/10/2005, and was impatiently waiting for my PPR letter since then. I have read previous posts that many people applied at Buffalo get their PPR very soon after "Med received" message being added. However, I am reading more posts that saying they got emails from Buffalo saying files will be finalized in early 2006? and rumors saying that quota for 2005 is already used up? I read a news release from CIC website, here is the original statement "For 2005, we are on track to meet our targets, with the anticipated number of newcomers admitted being in the high end of the 220,000 to 245,000 range". So I guess there is some truth in those rumors.
So my question is anyone have received PPR in the month of October? If the rumor is true, we won´t expect to receive any PPR in Nov and Dec? Please share your ideas...

mine is IA March 2005, Eclient not changed but got fax from Buffalo"all madicals are in our system". still waiting for PPR. seems Buffalo is slowing down. Haven´t hear anyone got PPR since Sep.

IA April 05, Status changed in Oct 05 to med received. Waiting for PPR.

Hi impatientlywaiting,
There is no concrete answer to your question, some people are lucky to get the request earlier than others, so don´t worry, just change your id to "patientlywaiting" and you will be fine.

App: August 2004;
AOR: October 2004;
IA: May 2005;
Meds/Docs: June 2005;
e-CAS "meds received": August 2005.
Sept. 2005 email from buffalo: "your file will be ready for final review by an Officer early 2006"
There are some hints that "early 06" means by the end of March 06. I hope you are lucky enough to get a PPR earlier, but it looks like you may have more waiting to do.
