Hi Guys,

Yes I have a masters degree from USA and I have already applied for my CAIPS notes in Oct.

I completed my medical in March 2005 so I dont have to worry about that. I am planning to get the FBI clearance.

How did u take your medicals even when you were not asked to? Are u not supposed to carry the form CIC provides?

Anyway, it is good u ordered your CAIPS, these will give an insight on what they would like to discuss on the interview.

Best of Luck!

Kenny,
"IA ------------- Aug 2004 Interview required in New York. " -----> does this means that with the IA they inform you that you will be called for the interview in NY ? Then why the separate Interview notice ?
Int. Notice ---- Nov 2005

Departure bay:

Reason for interviewing - To verify employment.

Starwars:

Applicants in US get the medical form when they get IA. So I got my medical form in Aug 2004 when I was told that an interview is required. I was told not to get the medical done untill instructed to od so but I got it done anyway.

Hopefully my case will be finalised before my medical expires on March 30th 2006.

Raj:

In USA after completing IA the applicants is told if an interview is required or not as well as the location of the interview. So in Aug 2004 I was told that an interview is required in New York.

My file was then put in queue to be transfered to New York from Buffalo. In July 2005 my file was transfered and yesterday I got a letter saying that the interview is in Feb.

Kenny,
What happens after the interview is done ? I mean does the file go back to Canada and they act upon that as far as your PPR is concerned ?
All this transfer business implies additional processing time right ?
In any case, wish you the best for the interview.

Hi Kenny,

This is good news. You have waited long enough. I will be optimistic...just pass the interview and there is a good chance you will be issued the visa on the day of your interview. I saw cases in Detroit where they were asked to pay for RPRF and later that afternoon the visa would be issued to them...since you have paid your RPRF already then everything is set.....since your medical expires in March...you will most likely be required to land by March...goodluck

Don´t forget to put deadline date on your FBI request letter and envelope...goodluck again...

Reg. Medicals not necessarily Kenny.

Just because they expire - has nothing to go with your PPR issue.

If they need a BG Check, that will delay your case. So make sure when you interview, you bring this up in informal discussion to gauge if your case is in BG check or not.
