"Remembrance Day is observed on November 11th. It is a statutory holiday throughout all of Canada except Ontario and Qu?bec" - so they do not selebrate it in Qu?bec, do they?

Don´t get tooooo excited about the holiday because it means another guaranteed day that your application will be sitting idle.

In BC, it is a statutory holiday - banks, schools, government offices are closed. Retail stores are pretty much the only thing open - some with limited hours like 12-5pm.
