Hi Jura,
The selection interview is done to verify all the information you have providd on your application forms. They will check the original documents and ask you questions about your work experience.
Visit the following link to get a list of generic questions that may be asked during a selection interview.

It would have been great if you could have ordered your CAIPS notes as you would have come to know the reason behind the interview. It takes 40-45 days to get the notes so it will not be useful in your case.

(in reply to: Interview in Buffalo - Jura) Hi Jura,
I know it is scary to appear for interview no matter how truthful you may be. Since this is the first time I heard of a personal interview in Buffalo, I can only advise you to go there knowing your application facts from the heart. Bring as much original documents as you can to verify the photo copies that you provided CIC....goodluck

Interview in Buffalo - Jura (in reply to: Interview in Buffalo - Jura) Hi Kenny , Joe
The interview went fine and the office stated my application is approved and I would soon hear from them to have my passport submitted for the visa. Infact she mentioned if I have cash or cashier´s check I can pay the landing fees and they will stamp my passport. I didn´t think this would happen. Since I had never expected this question I did not have enough cash to get the stamping done. So I will wait to hear from them and send the passport for stamping.
Thanks guys for ur answers and advice.
JURA.
