Could anybody confirm the rules regarding refund? Can we withdraw our application and claim refund after AOR is issued but before the issuance of immigration visa.
On ECAS it is mentioned "You may only withdraw your application before the Immigrant Visa has been issued. There are no refunds after processing has started."
There can be valid grounds for withdrawal such as undue delay in processing etc.

If you have already paid RPRF (landing fee), this is refundable upon withdrawal or disapproval.

Just so you know, there is no such thing as "undue delay" on the CICs side of the process.

once you have a file number you forfeit your $550. beyond that you can close your file and request a refund of your ROLF up until issuance of PR.
