Hi,
My application was approved on Oct 24th and sent to Delhi for processing....
After how long does CHC-Delhi receive the application?
When does the E-CAS online status change to "IN-PROCESS"
Right now, it is saying "PR Status: NOT AVAILABLE".
THX

(in reply to: New Delhi Processing for Spouse case) With regards to the e-CAS online status ( New Delhi) it is very unreliable, my case precedes the starting of e-CAS services, which started I believe in early 2002. It was in 2003 that I noticed the "IN-PROCESS" status change. Since then I have had my interview waiver, paid ROLF,given PCC, FBI reports and done the medicals and the e-CAS still shows "IN-PROCESS"
One of the best ways I found to obtaining the progress of my case was through CAIPS notes.
Contacting CHC-New Delhi:
1)Fax : The most reliable way I have realised over the years is through faxes. All my address changes surprisingly, have shown up on e-CAS after sending faxes.
2)Snail Mail: I have used it to send addtl. documents etc. Again I did recieve letters in the US from the CHC New Delhi, the last letter I got had the receipt for the ROLF fee
3)e-mail: This service started recently at CHC New Delhi. I have just got an automated response. But there are others who have got answers.
4)Telephone: I have got through to a customer service rep. But again I have only got vague general answers.
In 1 month Iam going to celeberate my 5th year one sided love affair with CHC New Delhi. I do hope to get a positive reply soon :)
Bottomline: Dont rely on e-CAS try using other methods.
Good luck with your case!
