Toronto’s population is one of the most diverse in the world, with 70,000 to 80,000 new immigrants each year. As a result, Toronto is a city with a delightful selection of restaurants, hundreds of languages spoken on the streets, and over 100 distinct neighbourhoods to explore.
Visitors to Toronto enjoy the many historical attractions, the dynamic downtown core, seasonal celebrations, theatre and cultural exhibits, and other special events.

Accommodations for newcomers (in reply to: Did you know - about Toronto)
Dear Samuel,
Your description on Toronto fits in with our expectations and we (a couple) plan to be moving in to Toronto in the near future as new immigrants. We would appreciate if you could give us some guidance as to our accommodation options there with following things in mind:
1. The area/place should have a good public transport.
2. Not far from shopping/groceries
3. Possiblity to find affordable one-bedroom apartment either at a private home or apartment building.
4. Preferably not that far from Buffalo.
