Subject: Transfering from one university to another |
My whole family is planing to move from Toronto to Montreal and I wonder how easy / hard is to transfer from one University to another university. Will my new university accept all the courses if I stay in the same program?
If I will loose more than 20% of my courses, then I might consider staying here and finish off my degree.
Anyone had a case like this?
THanks

(in reply to: Transfering from one university to another) It depends on your grades and what univ you are coming from/transferring to.

Grades are ok (in reply to: Transfering from one university to another) I am currently at UofT and not sure where I would transfer, I guess McGill. Any other is fine as long as they have a good program and that they take my credits.
In regards to marks, they are not the best but above 72% AVG.

(in reply to: Transfering from one university to another) You should be fine. Marks below 60% in any course tend to be ´lost´ in the transfer process. I´m not sure how this applies to UofT students going elsewhere though, just that I know some friends who transferred to UofT and they made them retake all courses with low marks.
