(in reply to: uwo easy??) I don´t think its an easy school since you have to have at least an 83 average coming out of high school. The average entering grade is 84 according to the MCLean´s magazine. Unlike some universities(eg York) you need at least a 70% average to stay in your program. Do not judge schools based on the level of difficulty of the acdemics. If you put in the work you will get good grades.

(in reply to: uwo easy??) O RLY?

(in reply to: uwo easy??) That 70% average can´t apply to every program. If it did you´d either have a huge number of students not eligible to graduate or widespread grade inflation.

(in reply to: uwo easy??) Again, its really easy to get 80% average if you are an ontario student.

(in reply to: uwo easy??) Again, you are the worst thing to happen to Concordia since Valery Fabrikant.

(in reply to: uwo easy??) Ignore the Concordia rejects, they love sucking dick.
Every school has their monsters!
McGill has Dr. Broom plugging every freshman´s butthole.
Universite de Montreal has Marc Lepin´s ghost haunting them.
and the list goes on...

(in reply to: uwo easy??) actually, its an 80 average, not 84. and that is expected to go down with this year´s applicants.

(in reply to: uwo easy??) western is a moderately competitive university to get into....you need 80´s but once youre in, its quite a joke unless you are in ivey or law. honestly anyone that is in western for arts or general sciences know how much of an easy ride it is! No lie. I have many friends that go there and they love it b/c work is not such an huge deal and that is what university should be about, no killing yourself at the library on a friday night (McGill) or hiding your notes from your classmates (UofT).....just enjoy it and have a good time.
Only bad thing to this is that some people don´t respect western as much and they end up putting the school in a category with comprehensive schools like guelph, york, concordia, dalhousie and less in the category with the best like queens, uoft and mcgill.
Its a tradeoff though!
