Is the core curriculum for BA the same in all unis in Canada? Can someone outline the core currilum??

(in reply to: Core curriculum) Depends... a straight BA (not honours) is usually 3yrs. Different schools have different ways of meeting the requirements. Some are 15 credits (5 credits, or full-year courses, per year) and some use more complicated "hours" systems that weigh classes differently by program. There isn´t a flat standard across the country.

(in reply to: Core curriculum) We dont have that in Canada unless you are enrolled in a liberal arts college. There are many liberal arts colleges (like Harvard college) that have some kind of core curriculum that all students must take.

(in reply to: Core curriculum) Yes you can, at least at most schools. Some schools or faculties that restrict the availability of their classes (engineering, commerce, nursing) might not have that option.
