Is the core curriculum for BA the same in all unis in Canada? Can someone outline the core currilum??

Depends... a straight BA (not honours) is usually 3yrs. Different schools have different ways of meeting the requirements. Some are 15 credits (5 credits, or full-year courses, per year) and some use more complicated "hours" systems that weigh classes differently by program. There isn´t a flat standard across the country.

We dont have that in Canada unless you are enrolled in a liberal arts college. There are many liberal arts colleges (like Harvard college) that have some kind of core curriculum that all students must take.

Yes you can, at least at most schools. Some schools or faculties that restrict the availability of their classes (engineering, commerce, nursing) might not have that option.
