In Canada, McGill.... in the US, probably Rutgers.

(Yes, Rutgers is in NJ. It´s thought of as 2nd tier in NY, kinda like York in Toronto and Concordia in Montreal)

Concordia always kicks McGill´s butt in business competitions, so I guess that makes McGill a third tier school.

Rutgers is a waste of money, especially for an undergraduate education.

McGill is much better than Rutgers. Rutgers is a second tier school even in its state let alone its country. McGill, however, is the top school not only in Canada but also in the world (in top 25).

Can you explain why McGill has lost 4 business competitions to Concordia in the last 3 months alone?

McGill is definitely not the best in Canada.

Walk the talk McGilligan.

When it comes to business schools, McGill sucks Concordia´s dick.

Concordia: "When it comes to business schools"
that´s all you´re good for, and people still don´t know who the hell you are

Mcgill is not top 25 (not even close). It is like Schulich biz school which is ranked like top 15 in the World and in some rankings it is better ranked than some really good schools like Chicago. THese rankings are just dumb. Nobody in their right mind would go to Schulich instead of chicago.

You say that rankings are dumb.

OK then, I am a sking:

"Why are there so many faculty members in the US schools that are graduates of McGill?"

Answer: Coz it´s one of the most prestigious schools. No matter what the people who got rejected by Mcgill say, McGill is a world class school that is ranked in top 15 in the world.

Anyone with a doctorate from a Canadian university can obtain a teaching/research position in an American university.

I doubt anyone with a doctrate in engineering from Canada´s top 20 engineering schools has trouble finding employment anywhere in the world.

McGill inflates their grades (in reply to: McGill or Rutgers?)
I have studied at 4 candian universities at the undergrad level. I completed coursework at McGIll University and found that although I did not exert much effort, I received very high grades. There must be a reason for this. How can a student exert lots of effort and receive lower grades at a less prestigious school and slack off and get A´s at McGill? McGIll is a sham. It may have a great reputation, but it doesnt live up to it in my opinion. Testing between universities in the form of competition tells alot more. Like at York University, students taking business at Atkinson beat Schulich in accounting competitions. Maybe the solution is to have standardized testing among ALL universities to see who really comes out ontop!
