Yay, so is that good? Is McGill really the Harvard of the north?

McGill being the "Harvard of the North" started as some publicity tactic to recruit kids from the south. . .

If any school deserves that title, it would undoubtedly be U of T.

UofT is a huge university, with 60 000 students and a 90.12% acceptance rate. Yes, they accept 90.12% of students who apply according to Maclean´s. So no, it does not deserve the title of "Harvard of the North". It´s hardly selective and not a very good university.

McGill is widely considered the "Harvard of the North", have you read the latest world rankings by the Times Higher Educational Supplement? McGill is number 1
