Stop arguing, ppl.
I was a student in both instiutions before.
For law, fine arts or undergrad business ---> go to York
For the rest including grad business -------> go to U of T
For some ppl who just want a university degree--> go to U of T

I have posted this thread before few months ago:
"Generally speaking, in my own opinion, York?s reputation is very poor with its poor school image. Why? It seems like Toronto?s second school. No school spirit and no history. It doesn?t have a medical school and good engineering programs. Poor in science and lack of funding from governments and the private sectors compared with U of T.
And.. York states itself as a liberal arts school but..... it doesnt have its own university press or the school of english.
Please consider the student quality, faculty quality, reputation of school, operating budget per student, university resources such as library holdings and acquisitions, student services before you apply.
I guess you will feel much much more proud if you say you are a U of T student rather than York. You can see so many people wearing U of T jackets, shirts and baseball caps but not too many people wearing York?s. Think of it. "

Deep in the heart of the YU jungle, you can hear the Lions rumble, YU YU oooh oooh, YU YU ooooh ooooh!

Good memories at York:

-Thursday nights- need I say more
-Multicultural week at York Lanes
-York Fest in September- you rock Billy Talent and Matthew Good
-Halloween haunted house in the underground walkways
-Battle of the Torch- Bethune will always be the champions
-All the residence random stuff- Don?s suck balls though
-Protest something at Vari Hall
-Rage Volleyball during Winter- I was a victim
-Frosh Week at the Sky Dome- ?FU...UofT?....?Friends will never let friends go to UofT?.
-800 students in the student ghetto homecoming weekend party.
-The stuck up hot girls wearing stilletos to class
-Muskoka Monday?s at the Spot- ?Sing us a song you?re the Piano Man?
-The long lines at the Underground and The Spot
-The long lines at Subway and Falafel Hut on Thursday after the pub
-Euro-Trash look alikes on campus
-The prices of those darn course kits
-At Stong Pond on a Spring Day- ´bring on the skirts ladies´

Actually ya got the cheer slightly wrong my friend. It goes more like:

Deep in the heart of the concrete jungle, you can hear the Lions rumble, oooo oooo YU YU, oooo oooo YU! oooo oooo YU YU, oooo oooo YU!

as far as i know anyway.

can´t argue with ur points though.

York Rules....we are the best in Canada and do not take on other university comments. That is why we are no longer part of the infamous Macleans ranking.

York is the best and everyone knows it and that is why you will never get to be a Yorkie.
So please uofT, nobody cares about you and your three ghetto campuses full of boring crazy commuters and the problems of your complex. Just drop it, spend your time in a useful way, perhaps studying.
