Subject: Changing programs dilemma |
Hi, here is my situation.
I got half way through a BA in Economics when I decided to take time off. I worked for a couple of years and became realtively successful in management.
I am now studying part time in another university doing my Bcom. I would like to one day apply for the MBA program.
My grades in economics were awful (around 2.0 GPA). There were many reasons for that, which is now fixed as my grades are much better in my BCom (around 3.3 Gpa). If I do my Bcom part-time it will take me around 6 years. If I go back and finish my BA I should be done in around 2-3 years. However, I am not sure as to how my GPA will be perceived when applying for the MBA.
Can anyone offer any insight into my dilemma? I don´t want to be in school for so long but then again want to make sure I am making the right moves for the future.
Thank you so much,
A.S
