Gourman Report is the grandaddy of rankings coz it predates the MacLean´s survey. A friend chose UBC coz Gourman says its good. Interesting to see the disparity between different ranking methods. Gourman is as good a second opinion as you´ll get next to asking your uncle George.

just because gourman is old does not make its ranking absolute. in fact, the older a ranking is, the more outdated it is.
gourman also created a lot of controversy. its method of ranking was never clear and definitive.
