No, there is some kid on this forum who is saying that 90% of applicants to UofT are accepted. Ask him for a source of reference, and he´ll come up short. The real acceptance rate of applicants to UofT Arts and Sciences is 53.5. For a comparison, keep in mind that McGill´s acceptance rate for Arts and Sciences is 52%.

If you want sources, check out the thread below.

correction: UofT acceptance rate is 53.9%, not 53.5% (in case some douche wants to make a big deal about it)

Actuakky, in a link a Torontian gave (in order to prove that his/her school´s acceptance rate is not 90%, I saw that the entering average for arts and sciences is 77%. This means that they accept alsmost everyone.

Are you all international students who can´t understand english?

listen, i?ll help explain this to you -again- since you seem to have trouble understanding.

# 1. UofT has an entering average of 77%?

- Look at pg. 12. It?s all laid out in a nice bar graph for you. The average entering grade for Arts, Science, and Commerce is 86.8% (St. George) and 84.1% (all three campuses combined).

A suggest learning how to read graphs before applying to University.

# 2. A quote from a poster above, "i guess uoft?s acceptance rate is the same as its arts and science faculty. makes sense, law and med are also 53%. that?s good. very logical
but i don?t buy your crap"

- Look at pg. 5,6. Law school offer rate: 15.5%, Med School offer rate: 17.1%.

# 3. "It says that McGill?s rate was 42%, it is just for one time that they admitted more this year."

- Thats the only source I could find with McGill?s acceptance rate. If you look at the end of the article, it lists the acceptance rates for the past three years. It was as 47% the year before it was at 42%. That said, the point I was making was that the acceptance rates between McGill and UofT are very similar (they just differ year-to-year)
