Subject: Clarification of "Acceptance Rate"
When we say that UofT has a 90% acceptance rate*, it means that 90% of people who apply get an offer of admission. In other words, 90% of people are admitted into the university and have the option of accepting or declining the university´s offer. This high acceptance rate historically has been the reason for UofT´s large and imposing student body size of 60 000, larger than any university in Canada, and -MUCH- larger than Princeton or Harvard´s student body. So UofT should be your first choice, since you are guaranteed to get in. We do not discriminate, we are very accepting.

*90% acceptance rate comes from Maclean´s 2005/06 guide to canadian universities

Yes!!! Actually, on UofT´s website, they say the entering average for Arts and Sciences is 77%. so it is quite reasonable to think that 90% of the applicants get an offer.

That´s bullshit, the Maclean´s guide doesn´t publish anything about the acceptance rates, and I´m willing to bet my life on it, how about you?

i know you worship UofT but it isn´t worth losing your soul over. it´s 90%, and you should be proud.
