isnt "ryerson" also a name?

how about "carleton" ? I believe that is also a name, a name nobody is willing to pay 40 grand for.

why?

because with a name comes a reputation, and people are willing to pay for a name with one of the greatest reputations in the world, and the reputation wasnt made up out of thin air.

i doubt the quality of education is any better at harvard than carleton, and on top of that going to harvard doesnt make anyone rich.

You have to be rich in the first place to be able to go there, they dont even give out scholarships. The rich spoiled kids just graduate with a bullshit degree in history or somthing and then fall into an executive position in daddys multimillion dollar company.
