Subject: Utoronto or Mcgill
Any chance of getting into either of these two universities with 2 A-levels both at grade B and 3 O-levels all at grade A.I dont mind going for a crappy major which is not selective. All i want is to study at either of these two institutions.
Any chance???? If yes then which major ????

you got it backwards: you should choose what you want to study, not the institution

I totally agree with the above post. Choose the field of study first before the school.

ok. then which universities are most likely to accept me for a science undergrad(mathematics) with the A/0 level results i have got.(i only want to study in either the city of montreal or toronto).. I dont think mcgill or utoronto will accept me . Both institutions requires three a-levels . And i have got only two
2 B´s at A-level in (Mathematics and a foreign language) and 3 A´s at O-level in (Maths. Further mathematics, and a foreign language).

Options i have :

Montreal ( Only 4 unversities altogether)- Mcgill, Univ de montreal, concordia,
Univ du qubec . Two of these are french ofcourse. Since i am not bilingual, we can discard the french ones.We are left with Mcgill or Concordia i guess.
Concordia requires 2 A level and 3 O-levels, which i have got.
But obviously mcgill is better than concordia, but i dont have three a-levels.
So, tell me what is concordia like?? is it a hole.. What kind of people go to concordia??? Is it a decent enough choice for me... What if i start at concordia and try transfer option into Mcgill.. Will it be easy for a student of concordia to transfer to mcgill after 30 credits..

Toronto ( 3 universities altogether) - Utoronto, York univ, ryerson.

Utoronto again requires 3 alevels just like mcgill.. then comes york, which is not really in the centre of toronto. Its outside toronto, but asks for 2 alevels and 3 o - levels. so it is an option for me. On the other hand ryerson is probably the worst univ in the whole ontraio.. Its just a really really bad place to study if i am not wrong.. I dont think its a good option( ryerson ).

What should i do guys...Need some help.. Serious advice needed.
Which is the better city ( montreal or toronto).. after all i will have to survive 4 years in that particular city and university.. so i dont want to make a wrong choice..

what do you reckon guys??? what should i do????

where should i go???

It´s a simple process of elimination. You´re not bilingual, so UQAM is out. UofT and McGill are out due to lack of course prerequisites. You obviously did not plan your courses in high school with McGill and UofT in mind. That leaves Concordia, York and Ryerson. Next, find a good reason to eliminate one of the these and choose from of the remaining two.

Not the best advice on this forum. Go to studentawards.com and ask there.
