computer engineering is the study of computer hardware, while computer science is the study of "computing". IN computer science you study everything that has to do with modern computing: software, hardware, networks, databases, etc.

IM not studying in this area, but I have a general knowledge of what these programs are about. I think there is more money in computer science than computer engineering.

Good luck

Computer Engineering (including software) is someone that study computer hardware, software in the view of engineering/architecture (more fundamental level or lower level).

Computer Science do applications on top of an operating system, or called server application. Theoretically speaking, they should be more in demand.
