Subject: Prospective Student - Start uni a year late
I screwed up my marks this year, so i´m starting uni a year late. I´m planning to go back to HS for another semester, and then work or do co-op in the second semester. At first, I wasn´t all that pleased with staying back an extra year. But I´ve actually been able to do more research on the unis of my choice, save up money for tuition next year, build my resume, and mature as a person overall. It will be weird going back to school with people a year younger than me, but I´m willing to accept it. My question is for the people that stayed back an extra year. When you got into uni, did you find it weird studying with people a year younger than you? Or did you solely focus on studying? I´m planning to apply for WLU and UofT next year for business admin/commerce.

tell me if this is a bad move or no?

It all relies on your own decision.

You know what is the best for you.

Even in your high school, in the same grade, the age can vary plus or minus a year. So what is the big deal?
