Subject: Surviving Schulich
Hey,
I just got into the Schulich BBA program & UT-DT Commerce. Everyone i talk to say schulich is a much better program. I really dont have a clue. At the moment, im thinking Schulich but my big concern is: Can I Survive 4 years in Schulich? I got in with a 89.5 average which is going down(im pretty sure it wont go down enough for them to take the offer back)
So is Schulich really better? Why? & Can i survive there?

Yes, Schulich is better. And if you´re afraid of a little hard work, then I´m not sure that business is the right career choice for you. Any program worth going into is going to be hard, but with a 89.5% average, I don´t see exactly struggling to pass courses. Personally, if I were you, I´d go to Schulich. I got into both those programs, and I had Schulich as my 2nd choice and U of T as my third, but I got into my first choice so I guess that doesn´t matter.

I have an 89 average and I still did not hear from Schulich School at York. Do you think I am going to get in or should I accept my other offers from Queens, Ivey or UBC? I am getting scared now, but at least I have a fall back.

When exactly does Schulich stop sending out their offers?

Benny - I´d call and ask what´s going on with your application. They might tell you that you´re on the waiting list, so ask them if you can accept another offer and then accept them when and if they choose to send you an offer. But with an 89, I think you should get in.

I agree with Ives. One of my friends has an 87 average and Schulich rejected her. This was more than 2 weeks ago so they must still be considering ur application.

I am going into 2nd year of BBA program, and seriously guys... I CAN´T wait to start the new academic year!!!
Schulich is THE place to be.
yes, it can be challanging at times and demanding, but it´s also a great place to have TONS of fun!
I love my school and i´d recommend it to anyone who considers business and has enough determination and smarts to get high enough marks.
Schulich WHAT???!!!!

Hi, I am about to apply for schulich. My academic marks are not a concern, however the extensive application process does worry me a bit. They look at your community involvment, and the three essay type questions. Can anyone tell me the things they did to get into this school. I am giving my life and soul to get into this school. I know i will never give up until i look at the clock as it rings the bell for the starting of my first class at this school. I have an extensive history of community involvment, i will have ranked in about 3000 or 4000 hours of volunteer service when i will apply. But i am still very concerned. I had been nominated for a top award in canada-Governal General Award for Outstanding achievement by a youth. However I sadly did not win, as I did not have a deep history of community service then. I had only completed about 500 hours or so then. Can anyone pleaseeee tell me what they wrote to get into this school. I would give my legs to get into this school, not my hands, as my hands are meant to pray to God, and help those less forunate. I believe with an ivey league education, I can do absolutely any type of business career, as many top CEO´s had gone here, in addition I will be able to create very solid and very large charitable organizations. My plan is to help those less forunate, and I will do things people never thought a man could do. I am ganna give my life to help those less forunate, its a little to much, but I just want to get into this school soo badly, My email is Illest_03@hotmail.com, if you have any advice please do not hessitate to email me, thank you for taking the time to read my reply.
