Subject: York or Senica
i got into york for space engineering but i also applied to senica college for instrumentation engineering technology. The program at senica is very difficult and will pay well for sure, but i dont really know much about space engineering... i just cant imagine being a space engineer after a couple years of school. Does anyone know.. will it be worth it to go to university instead of just college? and if so should i go to york or upgrade my marks and go to another school for engineering later?

i would choose york, personally i don´t prefer college, and the space engineering degree will possibly open more doors than a seneca college diploma

DON´T WASTE YOUR TIME AT SENECA. A university degree is much more rewarding for most people and will usually help open a lot more doors. Seneca is a good college, but no college stacks up against a university. Lakehead/Nipissing/UOIT are all better than Seneca if you ask me

Is York your only option? If so, then go with York. But, if you can possibly go to another University that is accredited - do so.

^ What a big deal about the accredited? I really don´t understand why this guy so many times about it. A university degree is a university degree and it´s recognized world-wide. Besides. York just offers Space Engineering, Computer Engineering etc and those really don´t need to have any accredition of PEO. The PEO is mainly for mechanical, civil or electrical engineering. I wish this guy will shut up because he has posted so many times about it.

Anyway, as a conclusion, it is no big deal whether York´s Space Engineering is accredited or not by PEO. Many space agenices will hire you as the rep of York´s Space, Atmospheric, Earth Sciences are renowned in Canada.
