I´m a York student myself and I really REALLY think it depends on what you want to study. (And maybe your personality) When i wanted to choose my school after recieving 3 admission from the York, UofT and Queens I was extremely confused. But up to now I have never regreted my decision!
First of all, if you want to continue to grad school, med or dental school, UofT and Queens are not good choices. Their tests are difficult and TA´s are hard marker and these will all bring down your marks. Also the competition amongst students is so intense (-The Biology class for 1st year is 1000 students that reduces half in second year-) that people just give up and transfer to other schools after experiences a failure or 2. And you DON´T want low marks on your transcript for grad schools ! York on the other hand takes things easier and marks are higher, ideal for grad schools. The main reason that people choose UofT and Queens over York most of the time, is because of their prestige! (I know from personal experience ;)! But if ur planning for Law school DON´T come to york. UofT is the best bet. York is hard when it comes to Schulich School of Law !!!
Also another reason that I chose York was that I liked the overall environment. UofT had a very depressed environment, with old building and everyone studying all the time and the word FUN just doesn´t exist in UofT. York is more on the cheerful side.
McMaster is a great grad school. It will be the 1st school that I will applying for Medical or Dental. Even before UofT (cause I like McMaster´s environment better). I don´t know much about its under grad programs.
Waterloo would have been my 1st choice if I wanted to started in Engineering courses.

Yeah, your post paints you as someone who doesn´t give a shit about academics and just wants a degree.

York is perfect for you.

Quit pretending York is anything but tied for second in Toronto and TTT overall in Canada.

I agree with Yorkie´s opinion. If UofT wasn´t such a boring university then why are there so many UofT geeks on this forum bashing York?
