More Torontonians (and Ontarians) attend Concordia than Montrealers (and Quebecers) attend York on a percentage basis.

Concordia´s research funding is similiar to York´s, but York has nearly twice as many full-time students and full-time professors.

Overall, Concordia is better than York.

I met some concordia students who were happy they got into concordia so they did not have to go to York. Pretty shocking.

Concordia´s John Molson business school and its faculty of Engineering / Computer Science make up close to 40% of Concordia.

I doubt York´s Schulich Business school and Osgoode Law school even make up 10% of York´s student body. York is mainly a liberal arts school. That´s why their research funding is quite small for a university of 50,000 students.

Concordia and York are quite similiar schools, but Concordia has better varsity teams, usually indicating better school spirit.

To all Concordians:

York has a lot of renowned programs and faculties which are very well known in Canada and the globle.

1. Law
2. Business
3. Fine Arts / Design
4. History
5. Poli Sci
6. Women´s Studies
7. Space Science & Engineering
8. Psychology
9. Education
10. Environmental Studies

Although some programs above are not the top programs but they are cosidered one of the best in Canada too.

Just name some programs from Concordia University that´s recognized the best in Canada or renowned in the world. You can even name some reputable programs too. (reputation = by mouth but not by objective data).

I hope the debate of YORK vs concordia will end up here.
