I heard someone say that McGill is the UofT of Quebec. Is that true? Is McGill really that good? I never heard of this school before!

U of T and McGill are the top two universities in Canada. No other universities even comes close, academically speaking. They have the best reputation, attract the top faculty and students, awesome research, amazing graduates, top programs. But, U of T is still better than McGill overall. Other great universities include Queen´s, Western, Waterloo, and UBC.

^what a retard, maclean´s is messed up, they are just doing this to attack uoft for leading the other 10 universities out of their survey..most likely killing sales. no one in their right mind could consider queen´s better than uoft..mcgill is the closest but still uoft is better

Guess what? Queen´s backed out too! And they went from 5th last year to 2nd this year. U of alberta also backed out, and they still get the top overall reputation. UBC is another uni that backed out and didn´t see any change in their ranking. Therefore, Maclean´s didn´t go out and punish those schools that pulled out of the ranking.

btw, there is no evidence that UofT "lead" the boycott, you just made that up. just admit that McGill and Queen´s are now the top two universities in this country.

ummm no, uoft led them and they are punishing the ring leader and sparing the followers. uoft > queen´s. uoft and mcgill and pretty equal

top = uoft/mcgill

middle = ubc/waterloo/queen´s/western/mac

low = ...

where do you get this idea that UofT led them? where? there is no evidence for this, stop making shit up and accept the fact that the top two are now McGill and Queen´s.

sparing the followers as in putting Queen´s up 3 spots to 2nd place and putting Alberta as the top overall reputable school? you make no sense.
