Ummm, I guess the least racist country in the world is my country, Turkey...

Y? We have many different races, mostly white... But people don´t even know that they are white, Asian or whatever... I didn´t know wither; I learnt that when I came to North America. Before that, I didn´t even know I am white. What I thought was that ´white´ is anyone who is not black, which was indeed not the case.

So yeah, I believe some Canadians are racist; and this surfaces on online forums. Noone is against me, which is good. But I can imagine how it would be if I was not white, didn´t have very light hair, skin etc.

I am Armenian. Don´t tell me Turkey isn´t racist. I´m not talking about WWI, I´m talking about the marginalization of people who dare consider themselves anything other than secular Turks. Turkey is not multicultural so your statement that Turkey isn´t racist is as relevant as saying Japan isn´t racist. And by the way, discrimination by religion is just as bad as discrimination by race.

To the Armenian guy:

1. I understand you! Sorry about whatever happened in the past!! I agree that bad things happened, but that is not racism. And it was like 100 years ago; at the time, nation states were popular; thus, everyone was nationalist.

2. Yes, Turkey is not multiculturalist. But appearancewise, you would see the same (maybe more) diversity than that you would see in Canada. And that mixing became 1 thousand years ago in Turkey.

And that´s why people just don´t care about race; indeed, they don´t know. For instance, I am Turkish, but my racial background might be anything from Greek to Armenian to Trojan to Viking, etc., who all lived in that area before Central Asians came. But very few (less than 0.001%) of today´s Turks would look Asian. And that´s because they mixed with the Europeans in the area.

But who knows? Noone... And thus noone cares. So noone is racist. But yeah, there are some extreme-nationalist (but not racist) bastards.

Turkey is the best place to be. Much better than UofT... And hotter girls... more beautiful cities... less study... more laziness... more time getting laid...

So UofT students should consider going to Turkey. And yeah, McGillians too... especially those who are subject to racism, cuz there is no racism in Turkey...

Did that psycho obsessed with bringing down UofT finally go and get a life? The topic of conversation has finally changed to something somewhat intelligent. . .
