Again serious answer: Why don´t u just go to their websites and see who the instructors are? If u know something about PSY, u can immediately understand which is better. If not, just google the name of the instructors and see whoch ones are mroe popular.

Honest answer here. For undergradute level or graduate level, choose U of T. It has the better overall reputation. York U is only special in business and law. If I were personally attending York U for something other than business and law, I would feel kind of bad. But, for psychology choose U of T. Face it, saying "I go to U of T for psychology" looks far better than saying "I go to York U for psychology." But here´s the thing, go to York if you want to shine, come to U of T, and you´ll face many tough competitors. The students here are quite competitve, and most including myself are quite serious about grades. York U on the other hand has a handful of serious workers, but, the majority are more concerned about partying. For academic reputation, come to U of T. If you need more information just ask.

UofT.

Note: anyone who asks such stupid question can´t be serious unless they have IQ less than 100, which in that case, they should be shot.

Choose York. York has a leading psychology program in the country with reknown academics. UofT´s program is average at best. The post about York not having the UofT reputation is nonsense. If you want to be challenged and be around top students and professors, go to York. If you want to be drowned in a sea of students when you go to classes, go to UofT. for me, the choice is simple, go to York.

don´t make me laugh...."If you want to be challenged and be around top students and professors, go to York"

if you want to be challenged? uoft is virtually the toughest school to get good grades in. you´ll shine at york but be average at best at uoft..(average being a C) top students????!!! their top students are only in the schulich ...take away all the other programs and York will have the highest entering average...but include science/kinesiology/engineering...etc... york´s average is now a 70%...lol ...top students..lol

Honest answer: I am not quite sure about which of the two is better. But posts about York Univ´s psy not being good are totally wrong. I know many York psychology graduates who got into top PhD programs in US and Canada, including Harvard, Princeton, UCLA and McGill.
