Subject: UofT Excuses, Excuses
The UofT student here is constantly making excuses. He says it´s harder at UofT. Fine. How do we know he´s not just making up excuses for his own poor academic performance? He says employers prefer UofT grads over the rest. Maybe he´s just insecure; fearing he may become unemployable and will have to attend a community college for skills training. Give it up, Nutlicker!

Hamilton, Waterloo/Kitchener, Guelph, Cambridge, Oshawa will become part of greater Toronto one day.

lol, you can argue all you like, everyone knows UofT is a tough school and people get their ass handed to them even if they have gotten straight 90s in high school.

deny all you want with your jealousy

Indeed - this is like DeVry students claiming MIT ain´t all that hard.

The UofT student (ie me) was honest about most employers not caring about where you got your degree. What counts is what you learned and your work habits. Don´t blow smoke up my ass and tell me York and Western turn their students into workaholics. I´m glad you´re happy with your school but don´t try and dis mine.

Imagine if UofT´ers can turn that commuting time into study time, get more professor´s help, with smaller class sizes. Their grades might even improve!

What commuting time? You live on rez or you live in the city. UofT students spend less time commuting than college town students.

"Hamilton, Waterloo/Kitchener, Guelph, Cambridge, Oshawa will become part of greater Toronto one day. "

They are already part of the GTA except Waterloo and Guelph.

I agree that UofT kids got poor grades with a good excuse that their school is tough. Maybe they can explain it to themselves why they cant get into grad/professional schools or to their parents and their old HS classmates.

Interesting logic. You say you go to an easy school, not really challenging yourself, so you can fake your way into grad school. I don´t agree with your decision but I understand it.

People who choose other universities for their grad and professional school preparation are really the smarter ones. They don´t burn themselves out before the first round is finished in their pursuit of "apparent" prestige. That´s like someone who shows off his Rolex watch while being broke and bankrupt.

I used to have a dentist who told me he did his undergrad at Western. He had gotten into McGill and UofT but already knew what he wanted to do so went the place he could get better marks. He was a really shitty dentist.

You are hiring a lawyer and have two applicants from Osgoode. One did his undergrad at York, the other at UofT. Their qualifications and personalities are otherwise the same. Which would you hire?

Exactly.

You ´re hoping I´d say UofT but...When was the last time anyone asked his lawyer where he did his undergraduate degree?
