Concordia University?s Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science is one of the ?G15? major engineering schools in Canada. In the last ten years, it has achieved the highest growth rate of engineering schools in Canada in both graduate and undergraduate enrolment and has one of the youngest professoriate among engineering schools in the country. It has established a strong Canadian and International reputation in research and development.

As far as engineering is concerned, Concordia can be compared to Dartmouth (Ivy league), Vanderbilt, Boston U, Pittsburgh, Massachussetts-Amherst in USA.

Top Engineering Universities in Canada... how is U Ottawa (in reply to: February: Top Engineering Universities in Canada)
Hi Humble. I´m interested in studyin a master degree in mechanical engineering in U Ottawa. As far as I searched, U Ottawa appears well positioned in some rankings but also it doesn´t appear in some rankings and having into account that some universities (included U Ottawa) don´t participate anymore in MacLean´s universities ranking, it concerns me to know how is U Ottawa´s "general performance"

Maybe that sounds a little ugly, but when you´re choosing a grad school, you´re making an important decision. And I´m on it.

Thank you very much.
