"Merry Christmas" in Romanian (in reply to: Merry Christmas in many languagues)
The correct greeting in Romanian is "Craciun fericit". One can say "Sarbatori fericite" as well (meaning "Happy Holidays" - it can be used for Easter, too). I´ve never heard of "Sarbatori vesele" before :))

Merry Christmas (in reply to: Merry Christmas in many languagues)
Q-bird,

Is life so bad you have to dump on people doing something they enjoy, whether or not you agree with it?

Merry Christmas to you, and a Happier New Year

Guys / gals , thanks for the work, it put a smile on my ukranian work mates face seeing the greeting given to him in his own language.

Merry Christmas in Ukrainian (in reply to: Merry Christmas in many languagues)
Great job with the many languages. Because there can be a few dialects for each language, there may be various ways to saying Merry Christmas in some languages. I´ve always known it to be "Kristos Razdayetsya" in Ukrainian (which is an old Slavic version).
