| Subject: stat pay for Canada Day |
Since I have just came back to work from medical leave, can the company only pay me a portion of stat holiday even thou I am working a 8 hour shift? I will be getting time and a half for the hours I work but am concerned about my stat pay.

Quite a few things depend from company to company, so simply ask your company or ask for the company policy and read through. Some company pay nothing, some pay time and a half, some pay 2 days.

Howdy! All depends on which province you live and work in but mostly on whether or not you have a collective agreement or not.
Joint a union to get what is deserved and ensure you rights are maintained and you can move forward in your work life and improve social economic conditions.
